A CLEARER WAY TO CONNECT
Your information.
Handled with purpose.
This note explains the information used by The Web Page’s inquiry forms, appointment requests, payments, client portal, AI project planner, and interactive demonstrations.
Updated October 31, 2026 · The Web Page, operated by R E Nicol LLC
When you send an inquiry or appointment request
We collect the details you enter: your name, email address, business, project information, selected capabilities, and any preferred appointment date, time, and time zone. We use them to review your request, respond to you, and plan potential work.
Submitting a request stores it in the studio’s database. It does not subscribe you to a marketing list, create a confirmed appointment, charge you, or send an automatic email confirmation. A reference number on the page confirms that the request was received.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information in these forms.
Booking through Google Calendar
The primary conversation-booking link opens the studio’s Google Calendar appointment page. Google handles the available times, the details you provide there, and the appointment confirmation under its own service terms and privacy practices. The calendar is not embedded on this website; it opens when you choose the booking link.
If you instead use this website’s alternative-time request form, the studio stores and reviews that request as described above. It is not a confirmed appointment.
When you pay through Stripe
The current project deposit and consultation checkout opens a Stripe Payment Link. You enter your customer and payment information directly on Stripe’s hosted page, where Stripe processes it under its privacy policy. Robert can review the transaction in the studio’s authorized Stripe account to reconcile payment and confirm consultation details.
This Payment Link flow does not create a payment order or payment-status record in this website’s database, and it does not save a payment reference in your browser. The website does not receive or store your card details. Ordinary website security logging still applies.
Payment and consultation confirmation are reviewed by Robert. Payment does not automatically book a calendar appointment. Any information you separately send through a project inquiry or alternative-time request form is handled under the inquiry sections above.
Stripe’s transaction records and any separate business records used for reconciliation or accounting are handled separately from the website’s 90-day inquiry policy. Contact the studio if you have a payment or privacy question; please do not send card details.
How long requests are kept
Inquiries and appointment requests that do not become client work are removed from the active database after 90 days. If a request becomes an active project, the information needed for that project is retained as part of the client record. Project records and business records may need to be retained for the work, accounting, or applicable obligations.
Protected daily backups are kept on a rolling basis for up to 14 days. Removing a record from the active database does not immediately remove copies in existing backups; those copies expire as the backups rotate.
You can ask about your information or request deletion by contacting robert@renicolllc.com. Include your reference number if you have one; please do not send passwords or payment details.
Your client portal
Client access is provisioned for an agreed project. Signing in allows you to see the project information assigned to your account, review updates, and record requested decisions. Those actions are stored with the project. The studio can see the information needed to manage the work.
Login and security cookies keep a signed-in session working and protect form submissions. Signing out ends your session on that browser. Contact the studio if you need help with access.
AI project planner — not currently enabled
The AI project planner is not currently enabled. If enabled, the planner would send your business description, goal, and selected capabilities through our server to OpenAI, the AI service provider processing the request. This would happen only after you select the consent checkbox and choose to generate a plan. Please leave out customer records, passwords, financial details, health information, and confidential information.
The planned implementation would not store your description or generated plan in the studio’s database. It would keep a request identifier, time, usage reservation, and outcome to control costs. A hashed network-address counter limits requests and helps prevent misuse. People sharing a network share the daily allowance.
We would request that OpenAI not store the response for later retrieval using its store=false setting. This does not mean zero retention: OpenAI may retain prompts and responses for abuse monitoring, ordinarily for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its API data handling terms. We do not claim that a Zero Data Retention arrangement is enabled.
The plan would be an AI-generated draft for human review. The planner does not connect your accounts, create a database, send messages, make a booking, or carry out the plan. Downloading a text or JSON copy saves a file on your device; it does not send a project inquiry. If you later choose to send information through our project form, the inquiry handling described above applies.
Demonstrations and your own copies
The capability explorer and other clearly labelled examples use fictional data. Capability choices may be saved in your browser so they are still there when you return. These choices can be cleared through the explorer or your browser’s site-data controls.
Preparing or downloading a brief does not submit it. If you choose to open an email draft, your email application handles that draft and you decide whether to send it. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.
Hosting, security, and external services
Our hosting provider processes website requests so the pages and forms can work. The server also uses limited security information, including request and abuse-prevention records, to operate the service and reduce misuse. Access to the studio’s inquiry records is restricted to authorized accounts.
Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Links to other websites and an email application are governed by their own services and privacy practices. Stripe, Google Calendar, and OpenAI are described in the relevant sections above. Any additional external service connected for a particular project will be identified as part of that project’s setup.
